A conversation between Father and Daughter, both of whom have been diagnosed with brain cancer
Dirk:
Dirk and Kim have been married for 38 years. Dirk and Kim have 2 children. Kim was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. Kim had an all-clear and then was once again diagnosed with cancer. As of the time of this recording, Kim is cancer free.
Dirk tells us about his experience of being a caregiver for Kim. He consulted with Kim before talking about his experience today. Dirk tells us what has helped him during this time in the hope it will help others facing similar challenges. A surprise ending is that Dirk turned to music, and ends playing a song that he co-wrote and performed.
